What does an initial visit involve?

Your initial visit is 1 hour long. I take a detailed history asking a lot of questions about your current health. Most of what we discuss is from the intake forms you fill out before your first visit. If time permits I may perform a bit of physical exam - such as listening to your heart and lungs or taking your blood pressure. At the end of the visit we may discuss lab testing and cost and I will tailor these suggestions to your budget and specific concerns. Or we may launch right into a treatment protocol involving certain supplements, diet or lifestyle changes, herbs, IVs or other types of therapies. All my suggestions are specific and personalized to each person.

Should I bring anything to my first appointment?

If you have any recent blood work then please bring it along. As well bring any medications or supplements your are on (or pictures of the bottles including list of ingredients).

How often do I have to see you?

After your initial visit I may want to start treatment right away and then we would follow up within 4-6 weeks. Or if we decide to do some testing we would follow up when the results are received. Depending what health outcomes we are looking at follow ups may be anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months apart. I try to give you a good idea of frequency of visits at our first appointment.
